Furniture Design Studio “FalsaEscuadra” came to Iderea with the following concept: “the user must own his routine”
At Iderea, we worked on this input and the preliminary ideas proposed by the clients to finally translate their needs into three products. An interior furniture definition that seeks to have an honest relationship between materials, be easy to assemble, and above all, durable.
As with any project, the best way to quickly illustrate ideas is through a sketch. Key functions and specific features that each product should have were detailed.
It’s often said that details make the design, which is why the junctions between different materials needed to stand out. Special attention was given to each connection to ensure that the intersections are not only mechanically strong but also feature an outstanding formal language.
It is very important to highlight the choice of production processes that are simple and, above all, scalable, in order to grow the product in response to market demands.

Another premise was to achieve elegant packaging with RTA (Ready to Assemble) characteristics, so that, as mentioned before, the customer can engage with the product on a deeper level.
For this reason, it’s important to consider not only the final product dimensions but also the packaging, making transportation and handling easier.
