Design Problem

Lack of specific products that help adolescents with physical motor disabilities in lower limbs in the acquisition of the necessary skills for aquatic and underwater sports practice during the initiation period, thus making the development of the activity more complex and increasing dependence on third parties.

Challenge

Diseñar un dispositivo adaptable que otorge seguridad y fomente la autonomía durante la etapa de familiarizacion en las practicas deportivas acuaticas y subacuticas

Anfibia has the main objective of improving the quality of life and experience of people with transfemoral amputations when starting out in aquatic and underwater sports.

The adjustable strap system allows use to be adapted as the user grows and develops.

Value Added

This project not only contributes to the quality of life of people or the community but also generates a contribution in ethical, social and environmental terms.

It is not necessary to purchase several sizes since a single size adapts and regulates all percentiles, by adjusting the straps and the height of the fin, accompanying the user throughout their growth and extending their life cycle to 6 years.
